Introduce Yourself......


This is a place for students from Hope Street Academy High School in the United States of America and students from Spain at IES Pere Borrell High School to introduce themselves. Students can post what personal goals they have to improve their health and nutrition.

    Hello to our friends in Spain with Mr. Carreras. We are excited about communicating with your class about wellness and nutrition.

    My experience has been that the food in Spain is much healthier in general than the food in the United States, so it will be exciting to see what we learn from each other. Please dont hesitate to contact us and get started.

    I'm Rocío and I'm 16 years old.
    I live in Puigcerdà but I was born in Palma de Mallorca.
    I am studying 1st of Batxillerat (year twelve) in I.E.S. Pere Borrell.
    I have got 3 sisters, 1 brother and 1 niece.I have got a cat.
    I love playing the piano and the guitar and I love eating chocolate creps.

    My name is Pablo and i'm 16, i live in puigcerda with my parents, i study 1btx tecnology, and i like play basketball and meet my friends, and i like the manga and computer games XD, i play counter strike and flyff, and i mesure 175cm and i have brown eyes and black hair.

    My name's Núria. I'm sixteen years old and I live in Riu de Cerdanya, a little town in Catalunya (Catalonia).
    I've got one sister, Marta, she's married with a nice boy David.
    My mother died three years ago and now I live with my father and my dog Met.
    I love dancing, doing gymnastics but now I can't do it because I've got a pain in my knee.
    I always listen to music, Rock (Catalan Rock), pop or ska. My dreams are being a doctor and becoming the president of my nation for freedom. I don't like spain and I want that Catalonia is independent.

    Hello my name is Heather, but people call me by my indian name Shum-Nabo. I'm a 15 and I'm majoring in biology and math to become a veterinarian. I take Nutrition/Wellness at Hope Street Academy and I've learned so much to become healthy. I've actually stopped snacking on junk food. I love to read, play basketball, swim, act, sing, write, and draw.

    we are thre sudents from puigcerdà!
    we are Nerea, Gerard and Carla.
    we are sixteen years old and we attend the high school IES Pere Borrell.
    we share an interest: winter sports mainly skiing because in the region where we live there are many ski resorts. We also like ice hockey because the team in our village is important in the country.

    I would love to travel to a country in Africa, for example Kenya, because I think that it coul be exciting.
